Midfielders dont ask for the ball anymore. Mac Allister is jogging back to pretend he wants it, Gravenberch is taking up that weird half space that is vertically ahead of Mac. You can see they don’t feel confident that they can play through City and this bizarre build up pattern we seem to be trying this season hasn’t worked a single time that I can remember.
