The noise is deafening and the atmosphere inside Anfield is electric. A huge flag has just been passed around the stands reading “19 Times” as a reminder of Liverpool’s title credentials.
And what a contrast as the teams are read out. You could barely hear the City names for the jeers while Liverpool’s names are cheered to the echo.
What a stage for this huge game.
