HT 0-1:

Disappointing result so far from our perspective. But at least, we didn’t concede another one and remain still in the game.

Anything can happen before the end, and our young team looks up for the fight. Salah will surely come on for the last thirty minutes. Let’s cross fingers for our lads to find enough energy in themselves to continue the fight and try to take something out of this game.

Young Bradley…giving everything…

We’re missing more pace and tempo on the ball. City look faster and more agile. Probably the number of games catching up with us, and City able to rest key players during their midweek game.

Conceding is always shitty, but that was a stupid goal.

Diaz and Nunez need to do more. Diaz gets about but end product is a bit meh, Nunez caught offside 4 times and hasn’t done owt else.

City’s goal was a clear foul on Mac Allister.

Need two goals, this is a must win. We finish 2nd if we draw this.

Gomez having trouble, having no confidence on his left.

Harvey could be replaced soon by Mo which we need.

Bradley needs to pull the trigger more, and Dom too

Darwin needs to get himself together. Stay inside ffs.

1 shot on target from a free kick will not win us this game.

Their goal is a foul on Macca like Endos.

But still was sloppy from us.

CBs playing well. We pressingwellwell too!!

One lapse, and a goal behind. Still in this game. Pep took out the disrupting the flow plan in the last few minutes, taking 15 to 20 seconds on each restart.

England’s finest Oliver ™ allowing it. Just as he allowed Walker to do two tactical fouls early on in transistions. Same old shit.

Still ten more games after today.

This afternoon’s result is important, of course, but it doesn’t decide anything.

Getting better as the game progresses. Jurgen needs to turn on his 2nd half magic with his subs and tactics. I’d bring in Mo and Robbo for Harvey and Gomez. Maybe look to release the ball faster and take shots when open and pounce on rebounds instead of passing to another player. City recovers fast and quickly closes gaps. And target Rodri who’s on a yellow.

Apart from getting caught for the goal, it’s been a good performance. We’ve had more chances, and City look vulnerable.

The Szobozslai header is a sickener. That should be buried.

Loads for us in this, but we a big performance from Anfield.

Not for me nothing really in it, never seen anything like that given at this level or most levels

Not sure, have been in this situation too many times praying for teams to beat city. We have to decide this race not the likes of Arsenal

Darwin’s feeding off scraps to be honest, but Diaz’s decision making is often poor. Funnily enough he never gets the criticism that Gakpo does.
Not helped by having Gomez behind him though.

Endo wasn’t penalised for a foul!!!

Endo is probably not that much different from Declan Rice.

Bar for that brainfart, Gomez is doing decently. As for Elliott, Man City doesn’t even think he’s a threat at all, so all they need to do is to focus on Nunez and Diaz and we get shut out easily which is proved by us being unable to shoot from distance or work the ball into the box, and eventually zero shots on target until Szoboszlai…
