After two weeks of being stress free, I almost wish the International break would continue for another 6 weeks! But here we are again, in two hours time my stress and anxiety will be through the roof and at the end of the game, I just know I’m going to be in a really angry mood, whether its caused by yet another abject Liverpool performance or we’ve been cheated out of a win. I should just go for a long walk and not watch the game.

I can’t even remember the last time we were all so negative before a game. All positive thoughts, confidence, and hope have completely vanished. I find it really awful right now, and a win today would be a huge surprise for me. Do the players notice how negative this atmosphere is? Probably, and they’re definitely feeling a huge amount of pressure, Slot especially. Sigh.

Good Friday was the crucification, Easter Sunday was the Resurrection. I’m never sure about the Saturday. Jesus was Jewish, so he didn’t do anything on Saturdays. Maybe he was just knocking about in the cave waiting for the Catholic kids to fetch his groceries.
Anyway, I’m watching this in the garden conservatory. The dog and cats have joined me for the time being.
