Similar to the turnaround against Ipswich, it is notable we look to be going longer with balls out the back this half going straight into the feet of the forwards and it’s working.

One reason I mentioned Haaland after the City game. You’ve got the best CB in the world and he’s playing next to a CB/RB hybrid who has barely kicked a ball all season and was terrible at CB last time he played there… and Haaland chose to play against van Dijk, giving Gomez the easiest game he could have ever imagined.
Newcastle certainly giving him more of a challenge today, hopefully he improves from that first half showing.
