PreMatch | Newcastle vs Liverpool | PL Matchday 14 | Wednesday December 4th 19:30h

Kind of expected a difficult game. Evening game a way at st James against a Newcastle, a decent side that needed to bounce back after a poor run of games.

However, going 3-2 up, after having played badly with 5 minutes left and then gifting them an equilizer. It’s really annoying.

Now on to a derby away as well with a depleted squad. Though week indeed

Agreed

Not defensively, no.

We’ve needed a CB and DM for about 2 years.

so upset by the ref I cannot even think of Kells

But he cant keep fit so hes out of the equation.

Kelleher is still short of number of PL games played. If he had the experience from an additional 100 number, he would have punched that ball for a corner… He unlikely to ever make a similar howler again in his career

We drew away at a very tricky ground. It happens. There’s no need for everyone to be squabbling.

What?

We don’t need to move anyone out to reinforce.

So, are we allowed to excuse away our “troubles” by pointing to our injuries?

  • Just 4 fit defenders with one just back from injury and no ready to be used in back to back games, meaning one is played out of position.
  • back up keeper playing his 15th or so game in a row
  • 2 forwards missing

And we’re still top of the league by a good distance

Look at your postings you show up for a whinge you tool.

Fair call, but some have been saying that when Ali is fit Kelleher should still keep the shirt, not for me, but he still is an able deputy and a premier league standard keeper

You do you can only have a 25 man premier league squad which we have.

Just stop posting if it’s just going to be insults. Go away and do something else.

Well we can jib off chiesa for a start . Maybe he will be fit in Aug 25

Felt we went into the defensive mode too early. There was a moment where Diaz might have just taken the defender one on one but he passed it backwards. Nunez was dreadful and that’s putting it mildly.

Anyway, how did Nunez stay on the pitch

Its actually a bit of a weird tendency he has as it is certainly not the first time he has done that, although probably the first the attacker standing right behind him was able to turn it back around and into the open goal

No, we don’t.

That was the CL final for Sandcastle…
They scored at the right times which kept them going…
