Haven’t we seen many similar red cards? Over the top of the ball. Maybe even glancing over it. Seen that quite a few times. It’s the lunge that’s the problem. I’m not saying it’s the correct call. Certainly seen it before.

He didn’t though. His foot slipped off the top of the ball. It’s was absolutely accidental, not reckless and not at force.
And I’d like to see the lines on that offside, cos he looked well on to me.

None of that matters if the ref or VAR consider it dangerous which according to the beeb match feed is what they based it on, then it is a red
