Although diminutive, Lamptey has serious footballing strength. He’s a fighter and not easily intimidated.

I’ve been fascinated by West Ham for quite a while. I’ve posted on the other board, there’s really no reason they shouldn’t be considered one of the “Big Clubs”. They have history, financial resource, location, and modern stadium (altho we can debate the design and sight lines) They’ve been showing more ambition and aspiration in the market they just need a real manager. This match today v Spurs is the most compelling of the weekend for me outside of our match.
Their honors list is so shit, they actually include runners up in the Anglo-American cup on their list. We have won more European cups then they have won top level honours in their entire history (3 FA cups and a Cup Winners Cup). Their fame and history comes almost entirely from what their players did playing for England.

I have to admit, I’m not a big Mourinho fan, and I thought him and Spurs were a bad fit, but he has them playing pretty well. Son may be the best player in the PL at the moment.
