If people need to understand how he got away with the one on Virgil it is this. He swung wildly and kicked an opponent in the midriff. But it is apparently “subjective” according to our commetatrs so they let it go. You know, keepers have to be able to challenge for the ball.

Pickford is just not good enough. I still don’t think there is no malice in his idiotic tackles, but he does incredibly stupid, and late, interventions. He is going to injure more players in the future unless he manages to change his approach. I am not sure he will be able to.
