I love watching them. They don’t give a fuck who they’re up against , they just go for it.
I do think Chelsea might be too much for Leeds in the end, but the romantic in me has a bit starry eyes watching Leeds attack. So amazing how they were in the Championship only last season. They play like they have never known anything but the Premier League. So much confidence.
Leeds probably the most exciting team to watch in pl.
I remember watching Bamford play when he was up with Boro. That guy has really stepped up his game since then. Late bloomer.
And right on cue: Giroud.
May be the coaching, may be him. Most likely a combination. But Bielsa has taken that lot very far, most probably much further than most managers could have without billions of cash from an oligarch or dictator. Not many teams in the Premier League plays this kind of football against presumably Top 6 opposition.
Chelsk fans look more attractive with masks on.
Not many strikers in the world are better from that position. He always seems to have a long toe with those long legs of his, or he uses his head or another body part. Very. very good receiver of the ball in the box indeed.
Leeds lucky it’s still level, their defence needs upgrading in January.
Great game this to watch. I thought West Ham vs Manchester U was a good game to watch, but this is better so far.
Concerning defensive frailties of Leeds, this is of course a known quantity, but much of it has to do with how they have been instructed to play, as they sacrifice a lot of space going forward. On their budget, I am not entirely convinced they can upgrade a lot without it stymieing their offense. I suspect Leeds would prefer to ship in 10-15 extra goals a season if that means that they are likely to score more than they concede. A bit difficult to balance the attack and the defence on such a budget I suspect.
Leeds vs anyone is fun to watch it appears
Let them face this guy…
Let’s see him try his little head games with Bielsa
Nice to watch an enjoyable courageous game of footie.
They are this seasons Norwich on steroids. Steroids because they are far more lethal and won’t disappoint you every round (we all remember how nice it was to watch Norwich last season, but then they rarely if ever managed to actually score) and are just better in every department on the pitch.
Agree completely, but feels they have more method to their madness.
Also, whatever frailties Leeds defence has, and they have several, they don’t give up being a couple goals under. From what I have seen this season, they just keep going and going. Sometimes that works for them, at other times not of course. But for a neutral, there is no better team to watch in the Premier League I would argue.
I don’t know exactly what it is that makes Owen fucking unbearable. I only know that he is, indeed, fucking unbearable.
It’s his accent.
