Southanpton are just very good these days. As for Sheffield United, bit perplexing that they have yet to find better performances. The longer this goes on the more difficult it will be mentally to get out of this as well. I am no longer sure they can, will be very difficult now.

We have sort had this discussion about them and while we disagreed, I personally think this is classic 2nd season syndrome. As I recall the stats showed they scored more than expected while still having very few shots on goal while conceding less than expected at the other end.
They havenāt really adapted their style of play and are conceding a lot while not scoring. Nothing much has changed except some of their personnel while the stats are now a truer reflection of whatās happening on the pitch. They are pretty dire and bland so they should be good for a result against United this week, though.

True, but their style of play was good enough for upper midtable last season, and while they did indeed at time win unexpected games that wasnāt the entire story. This season it is not working. They seem to play with little confidence, gets scared when they do mistakes. I find it a bit difficult, for now anyway, to pinpoint exactly what has gone so wrong.
