Sheffield United welcome to the Championship.
The Blades are as sharp as Maguire.
Sheffield Utd are so bad, they should be relegated now.
Says it all about how under prepared Sheffield United are when they make a change through injury and bring a 38 year old on.
Itās why they voted against the five subs as that wouldāve meant Wilder waddling on.
A brief stop on their way to League One.
Manchester United attacking fairly well at times. Sheffield United really struggling after they got shipped a goal by Henderson. It is looking more and more difficult for them to survive this season. Maybe Wilders opinion on injuries and subs may change eventually, after their bench stretches thinner and thinner, or maybe there is no such Christmas Miracle in the real world. Only time will tell though.
For what it is worth, I kind of like their team, they impressed me mightily last season, but I donāt think they are strong enough to get out of this deep hole, located in the middle of a mine field. Seems too late now, after a bad start points wise. It will be very difficult for them mentally to be able to compete at a high level now after so many blows to their confidence. Seems too lateā¦
Sheffield Utd need 2 goals, wonder what they should do?
It is tricky for them, given where they are on the table. Logically, they are desperate for points, but a hammering where Manchester United scores 3-4 more goals on counters, can make the next games more difficult again. They are at a kind of hopeless place, I do feel a bit sympathy. Except for Wilders opinion on Subs, I donāt feel sympathy if they find their bench void of options.
Brewster on. Canāt be easy for him, but he has sadly been a dud for them so far, wasted most every of the few chances he has been involved in, as far as I know.
Another Edwards masterclass - unloading shit forwards for relatively big money on rival teams. Heāll do the same with Origi, watch.
Hehe, good trade so far indeed !
Brewster is too young for me to say categorically that he will fail though, but he certainly has not taken the level required so far after coming to Sheffield. Was probably easier for him to play well the few times he played with our first squad (he was kind of effective and seemed impressive to many of us after all), since everything in the Liverpool team plays with far more fluidity and better movement patterns than Sheffield, but he is no Zalah that can do wonders for a lesser team indeed.
Here we go, panic time.
I will be honest and say that a fair few of our youngsters now playing fantastically due to injuries, I am not sure they would all play this well (yet, anyway) outside our team group. I think our group is so strong, our strategy of play so sound, the team spirit so good, that players get a ālot for freeā. It is also why I donāt have incredibly high expectations of our care taker defenders and midfielders, so wonāt be too disappointed if they later end up struggling.
But so far, with our injuries, we have done absolutely fantastically well and I am so proud of our team.
Please please pleaseā¦
