Premier League 2020/21 (Part 1)

Not even interested in Maradonnas Magi ?

Seriously though, apparently they were quite good, his books (for children and youth), but I wouldn’t know, I am not in the target group and haven’t read them. He has ventured into the field as a writer of children’s books. And why not. When you can’t play football on an acceptable level anymore, you may as well do something.

Scott Jones is already enacting his dark rite (that seldom if ever seems to actually work for him) to break his legs in ways most painful.

I can’t even choose. Want to see Southampton, but I also want to see Aston Villa. Both are strong teams who play good football. Crystal Palace also a very strong team (for some reason, I like Aston Villas football bit better though), but skeptical of Fulham.
On paper, my paper anyway, Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace is the most competitive match up. On paper, Southampton should brush away Fulham.

Advice and or opinions anyone ?

Villa Palace for me. Wont be glue to it though.

Bit of the same I think. Will read a newspaper while casting an eye now and then on the game. Something like that.

Regarding Grealish…I get it, I understand why so many disapprove, I understand why he gets the critique. He invites much of it, and he’s a lightning rod for debate.

All that said, I am fine with his flamboyance and theatrics. He’s a talented young man doing his thing and he’s expressing himself. He’s not hurting his team on the pitch, and by all accounts he’s an exceptional teammate and ā€œteam-firstā€ sort. Off the pitch I would caution him to be a bit more discreet and measured. But I am ok with his flamboyance and self expression. He’s a world class athlete in the prime of his career.
