Seriously though, apparently they were quite good, his books (for children and youth), but I wouldnāt know, I am not in the target group and havenāt read them. He has ventured into the field as a writer of childrenās books. And why not. When you canāt play football on an acceptable level anymore, you may as well do something.
I canāt even choose. Want to see Southampton, but I also want to see Aston Villa. Both are strong teams who play good football. Crystal Palace also a very strong team (for some reason, I like Aston Villas football bit better though), but skeptical of Fulham.
On paper, my paper anyway, Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace is the most competitive match up. On paper, Southampton should brush away Fulham.
Regarding Grealishā¦I get it, I understand why so many disapprove, I understand why he gets the critique. He invites much of it, and heās a lightning rod for debate.
All that said, I am fine with his flamboyance and theatrics. Heās a talented young man doing his thing and heās expressing himself. Heās not hurting his team on the pitch, and by all accounts heās an exceptional teammate and āteam-firstā sort. Off the pitch I would caution him to be a bit more discreet and measured. But I am ok with his flamboyance and self expression. Heās a world class athlete in the prime of his career.
