No, but he’s read all your posts.

Does that count?

Hmm…

Manchester City have been so uneven this season. Some games they have been really strong (last one was for instance good), but they have had a nasty (or lovable, depending on your pov) tendency to stumble the game after. They have yet to play consequitive good games and find good form. Manchester United have for instance found actual form, but City really hasn’t. They are unstable. But Newcastle will still be a lucky lottery winner if they get points from this. They need City to waste something like 9-10 chances (because City will produce more than 7 chances) and they need a goal themselves to get a draw. I think 3-1 is a logical result. But even then, that means that Newcastle is fighting. If they don’t fight well enough, and if everything clicks for City, they could lose with 5-6 goals. I don’t think that will actually happen though. I think 3-1 or 3-0 are the most likely results. But City can falter, they are up and down. But home against the Toons ? Nah, they’ll win this I fear.
Chelsea slightly more stable. But some of Chelseas important players, particularly new signings, have yet to glue into the tea, properly. We have Haivertz, and Timo Werner misses a lot (but not as bad as some say, his speed stretches teams, opening up space for other Chelsea players, so not all bad with him).

Arsenal though, Chelsea will be too strong, doesn’t matter if Arsenal plays better than previously, Chelsea is a better and more all rounded team, unless they have a major day off. Arsenal has a quick lethal attack, but frail in midfield and defence, and their midfield will be bullied by Chelseas much stronger midfield. This I think, will be a very fun match to watch, but also probably humiliating for Arsenal.
Again, (bit boring this, eh?) I think 1-3 is a likely result. Arsenal huffs and puffs, likely will get a goal over 90 min, but Chelsea will punish them on the counter, may score on a set ball (hello Giroud’s long toe !) and will produce better chances. Looking forward to that game actually.

Strangely I feel Newcastle has more of a choice for points than Arsenal. So I’d bet Arsenal.

I agree. Newcastle probably better chances at a draw (though they are not good) than Arsenal has for a point.

Wonder if Roy has counted the number of Villa players

Woy won’t be happy if they can’t get at least a point.

Is there anything sadder than watching a Hodgson team trying to play with a man advantage?

Palace are struggling.

Only Old Yeller comes to mind. And even then it’s close.
