Newcastle were the other team to have an outbreak earlier in the season, interesting to note what Bruce has been saying about how their players have felt post it, Wonder if this explains why Mane has only recently returned to some form. Salah might be in the same boat.
City postponing so that they can buy a striker in Jan.
For the amount of players on shittys books, Iām sure they could supply at least 14 covid clear players to play, if your registered you play, cmon pl/fa bring em into line and make them play, no-one else can get away with itā¦
I donāt blame them. When the Norwegian International Team canceled two games in Nations League, it was because players on the other team got infected. Still, we had to concede the games, very important for qualification, since we were the ones that canceled them. I donāt really understand why Manchester City is allowed to cancel without the same consequences considering the incredibly tight schedule. Imo, this should therefore be 3-0 on walkover to Everton.
Of course, the Premier League is different, not UEFA or FIFA rules but Premier League rules, but still. Is it that fair to the other team ? I understand that no one wants a team to get a walkover victory, but if not because of these reasons, then when ?
Just my opinion, maybe I am being unfair to City, but so many other teams get that harsh loss on walkover in other sports, including football.
Edit: Perhaps different, the Norwegian government āstrongly advisedā NFF to cancel, kind of shaming them into doing it despite the consequences. Maybe it is different. But when there is infection in the other team, game should be canceled imo, and perhaps it is more fair if the party with the infection must bear the loss. I think so anyway.
Are you sure itās not from one of those bunga bunga parties?

I did see a bit on Twitter yesterday where some fans are starting to turn on him.
Youāll find fans turning on most managers on Twitter, in fact you can see people turning on Klopp if you look hard enough.
Saying all that they have dropped off recently, thatās the problem with rating teams based on 2-3 games or worse one weekend.
Twitter is full of twits.
We must fight-off those scums. Just imagine Frankie at the helm of Chelsea for few more years!!! Itās worth a fight, I tell you.
Of the former players managing big teams I rate Lampard above Solskjaer and Arteta. I think he could build Chelsea into a good team given time. Itās hard to arrive at your best team with so many new arrivals who will need time to settle and integrate. Hard for even the most experienced managers.
Hmm. I know who has the hardest job of the 3 at the moment. But I think you could swap in and out any of the them. If Frank was at Arsenal, OGS at Chavski and Arteta at Manure I think the results would be similar to what they are now to be honest for the 3 teams.
OGS more likely to win a trophy this season.
Is that the Wenger Cup?
3rd favourite for PL
2nd Favourite EL
2nd favourite carcardboard cup.
Matter of time before the leagues suspended.
Another 9 games off tonight.
Doctors have advised government to suspend football.
Iād welcome it. Itās shit without fans (even 2000 doesnāt make much difference) and we can get our players back.
I can see a break after next weekend at this rate.
Problem is, there is no regular testing below the PL and thatās an issue, I do wonder if the FA Cup weekend might be postponed.
As long as some leagues in Europe can remain on Iāll be ok
As long as we arenāt forced back into watching Belarussian football again

Not that Wilder will need 5 subs anyways.
That seems more like a āplease cancel the season because we are super shit and donāt want to be relegatedā.
