By cutting them open, which we failed to do. I had the absolute misery of watching the entire game in a replay knowing the result in advance, as I missed it on match day. West Brom deserved their point, their tactics worked.
But sometimes even the best of teams have bad days, and we were not creative enough. It is absolutely legal to set up a Chinese Wall against a better team, it is on the attacker to break it, and we couldnāt. Then the guy on the wall was lucky sniping the general with an arrow, but thatās why you have archers on walls anyway, and it was on us giving them the set ball they would probably need , to score, and they did just that. Our own fault, and grudgingly, I got to say that Big Sam and his boys deserved the point.
Because WBA didnāt play the 6 -4-0 -formation against Leeds like they did us.
