Premier League 2020/21 (Part 1)

Spurs will get a hold of Utd at WHL as well.

Probably end up 8-1.

Referring more to the goal difference in the match. Leeds play very open, optimistic football, just the kind of football Jose Mourinho’s tactics are designed to expose. Bit of a theme with Leeds. Win by multiple goals or lose by multiple goals.

Yeah, agree with that. I just think it is unlikely that Bielsa is very naive when it comes to their defensive structure.

Things have changed at Ibrox.Celtic down to ten men, and down one goal, scored by OG. I expect we’ll be be seeing Stevie back in the Prem next season. Either that or the next England manager after Southgate’s failure / success in the Euros.

Edit: Now I’m dressing to the right! I can’t be having that.

One year ā€˜transition apprenticeship’ under JK??

Or do you think it will be two years?

Would love to see him win that league, then come back to the Prem and demonstrate his chops with a lower table side before coming here. Jurgen’s going to be a tough act to follow. That’s for sure.

I’m not so sure he’ll be the next Liverpool manager. After watching this performance, I hope he won’t be. I’m hoping we’ll go for continuity and promote the current assistant manager Pep Thingymajig.

Not seen this match but just looking at the stats it must have been end to end. Only 34% possession for spursy but they still managed 20 shots. It’s never a dull moment this season with Leeds: they are exciting to watch

Doherty with second yellow.

If Bielsa doesn’t loudly proclaim that the better team lost he’s not doing it right.

Not sure his translator has the right delivery in him…

Yeah, biggest difference was that Leeds were less sharp all over compared to Tottenham, and so Tottenham’s attacks resulted in more meaningful stuff. Both teams played to win for sure, and as you can imagine, Tottenham defended pretty well and they have nasty bite on fast transitions.

The Crystal Palace game is pretty meaningless indeed for us, considering the table and all that. I expect Sheffield to strive to win but fail, and I expect it to get worse for them really. They are in a dark place and have no confidence in the squad, I don’t see it clicking for them against a compact Roy team. Palace will probably win by 2-3 goals.

Leeds, you bunch of pussies :smirk:

Watched it 'til Spurs scored. Leeds were all over them up until then. The result was sadly predictable after that.

Allegations on the Celtic forum I look at that the referee is known to have had a season ticket at Ibrox…and we complain if we get a ref from Stockport…

Sheffield in pink. Perfect color for league creampuffs, though I’ve always admired a man who can both wear pink and appear masculine. Let’s see.
