So much for the tactical genius of Big Sam. He was crowing after we drew with them, but thatās because we couldnāt finish and played poorly. The other results have been horrible. If youāre going to lose 0-4, Iād rather do it was Slavan Billic.

The crappy thing about it is that if it seems like WBA are going down Sam will either get the boot or simply leave before it happens thus retaining the āHeās never been relegatedā bullshit record. Theyāre of the same ilk, him and Pulis, and for some reason the narrative around them doesnāt seem to include being shit enough to put teams in a relegation fight in the first place.
They just walk away smiling with their golden handshakes and intact reputations just waiting like a smiling booby trap for some desperate club to come knocking again so that they can fleece em off. We all think Mourinho is bad but this lot are a fucking stain.

We needed to have more chances, bar Mane the crosses just went in, it was a poor display if Iām honest, two chances on target in 90 mins.
We at least could say Newcastle was unlucky, we handed WBA that game in the second half.

Apart from Steptoeās disallowed goal, this first half hour has been shite. Good finish but he was definitely offside.

Not a pretty half but still interesting. Newcastle working very hard and effectively on defense. Leicester City didnāt get a single shot on target (and only three attempts) in spite of spreading the field and generally playing the better football. Three sumptuous corners from James Madisson. His teammates might have done better with those.
