look at the clock… even though there is injury treatment, there won’t be any more time added

Tonight certainly hasn’t done a single thing to dent my belief that City are a real fucking worry.

This Utd team certainly ain’t gonna get near them if they’re playing well.

more than 4 mins added but it was bloody useless anyway as number of shots on target for Burnley: ZERO (and they are the home team)

I’m more worried about United.

Not because they’re the better team but simply because of the ridiculous decisions they invariably get in their favour. Another one tonight: Shaw should have been sent off. Clear red.

I agree with this. They aren’t playing well at all but consistently picking up points while other teams are dropping points. Once they do start clicking, they’ll be a threat

This is them clicking. We’re witnessing it.

I still don’t reckon they’re good enough, even with the help.

Still a long way to go, plus their Thursday night games…

As I’ve said only can concentrate on our own results.

Hot of the press, Citeh is 129% for sure going to win the league vs MancU which has 102% chance to win the league.

Our chances remain at -42%

I like that they used a City photo.
Very appropriate.

Liverpool can finish this weekend at the top of the league or in 6th place…

Brighton has a great chance of getting relegated.

Both points above well made, its such a weird season. Almost halfway through and only 10 points separating 1st and 10th, 12 points separating 11th(Arsenal) and the relegation zone. Considering the last few years winners have had almost 100 points (and 2nd place the 1 year) this season is just all over the place. Someone mentioned at the start of the season they thought 85 points would win it this year. Im starting to think closer to 70 will win it but there’ll be 4 or 5 teams in and around there.

Looking at the table even Villa if they win both games in hand would be 1 point behind us. If City and Spurs win their game in hand it’ll be 7 teams within a 4 point margin. Can’t remember it being that close in a long time. Makes for an exciting league but i’d have happily enjoyed this more if we had won this season by a big margin.

The biggest worry is other teams such as Utd started terrible and are slowly getting better, we started well but our performances of late are going downhill. Have to trust Klopp to start putting it right.

PS i will say that a big part for us was losing almost our entire defense although i think Jota missing has cost us a lot as well. If anything i suppose we are doing well considering how badly we’ve been hit compared to others (in terms of quality as much as quantity, imagine how we’d have done if VVD, Thiago and Jota hadnt all been injured let alone at the same time).

City are a machine. Brighton are struggling to get the ball out of their own end. They have to work unbelievably hard for what should be routine ball movement.

Brighton keeping city at bay relatively easy so far.
