Last game I remember being cancelled in the PL for snow was the Liverpool vs Spurs one which I had tickets for, that got cancelled a few days before as did Wigan vs Villa which I had purchased to take in two games that weekend.
Wasn’t bad once it got to the actual day and I just spent the weekend walking around the north west of England.
Problem is when it comes down heavy as it has done quickly. Anyhow it’s sunny here in west London so the Chelsea game will be fine
Two ridiculous Vardy goals, the first from an exquisite Madisson pass, the second from a Madisson corner. Leicester City in control now. Snow continues to fall on Ranieri’s parade. Leicester cross country team waxing their skis now, @Magnus
Annoying that Manchester City keeps winning. We really don’t need to trail after more than one team. Just one point up to them as results stands now, but that’s one point to them and tomorrow, probably 4 to a very strong Chelsea side unless Manchester United some how saves us.
No, not really but all sense goes out the window when it does. The infrequency is also part of the problem. It never settles so it won’t settle now type of thing.
It might catch on if insurance companies start clamping down on it but I can’t see government legislation happening.
Badly off topic but of all the people I thought I’d snag with Winter air I never thought I’d catch a Canadian.
It’s not just about the pitch it’s the area surrounding it and the facilities
Man City and Leicester City grounds are both quite spacious around the ground and are both cities. Burnley though I’ve never been to the ground is less well connected and possibly hemmed in, both City’s have modern facilities and Turf Moor is an updated ground from a previous time.
Doesn’t look like it’s hemmed in but it’s surrounded by residential area.
All this has to be taken into account it’s also higher up altitude wise I think, well certainly compared to Manchester.
I normally get Argon I think it is in my tyres (or is it Nitrogen)… anyway, take it once a year to the tyre centre and the guy pumps it in… only a couple of quid per tyre, but they never ever lose pressure, and you can actually feel the difference when driving… Would recommend everyone who has a car to look into the positives…
Lol. I have learned to be open-minded about what people who don’t live in real winter think needs to be done. I assumed you meant differential pressure due to cold weather, or the recalibration of the TPMS to work with steel rims, or something.
