First game back for Robbo, game kicks off, and Tierney leans on his historical knowledge of Robbo and decides he has to tell the ref to send him off. What can he do? Robbo is just that sort of player and so made a rod for his own back.

There’s no pre-match thread, so it’ll have to go here. Our Boxing day game v Leeds postponed due to cases in the Leeds squad.
Wolves v Watford also called off.

I was kind of looking forward to it.
We need to push heaven and earth to not have it rearranged for that week in January. At least we’ve got through in the league cup cuts that opportunity out.

Shame, as currently Leeds are there for the taking. 7-0 against Shitty, followed by 4-1 against Arsenal. At least we get a few days recovery.

Integrity of the league has gone. City get their goal difference up but now we will play Leeds full strength. Also Robbos ban gets moved on a game so now misses Chavs which is unfair.

Yeah in terms of this month, it’s going to help us, especially if it means Thiago, Fab, Jones and Virgil are missing one less game, assuming they will be back for the Leicester game on the 28th. For a change we will look like having a strong team for a game rather than the other way around the last couple of matches.
But it does mean we likely have to add 7th fixture in to January, whilst Mo, Sadio and Naby are away.
At the moment January looks like this - but it will change a fair bit. The League Cup dates are TBC as far as I understand

Tuesday 4 Jan - Arsenal (A) - LC Semi 1st Leg
Sunday 9 Jan - Shrewsbury (H) - FA Cup
Tuesday 11 Jan - Arsenal (H) - LC Semi 2nd Leg
Saturday 15 Jan - Brentford (H) - PL
Sunday 23 Jan - Crystal Palace (A) - PL
If those stay like that, there are a lot jammed together, but lesser opponents at least…other than Chavs.
The obvious solution for us is the LC games to be shifted to Wednesdays (or even better, to A Wednesday rather than two).
