Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

Daka has a knock, Evans was being talked about as being back last weekend evidently both will be available on Wednesday as will Vardy. Saying that another second half like us and it should be fine.

They were screwed against Citeh the moment Soyancu’s hammy felt off. With Evans already out, their central defence is dire. Having made that risky decision and faced the downside, I don’t actually fault Rodgers for writing this game off, but of course he will complain about the injuries he chose to risk.

To be fair they’ve probably written anything from the League off, League cup was a chance to win silverware

Exactly right. Teams are defeated even before they kick off against them. It’s why I cannot bear to watch their games. Early goal , keep ball , game over. Time and time again.

Check out the Forest own goal in the Championship, lovely finish

Yeah I think I’ve watched one or two of their games all season and that’s included ours.

I understood that against us, but my comment when I saw the line-up was not regarding the overall quality, rather the defence in particular. Down a central defender, fielding your one remaining starter was foolish. We saw what happens when you lose both for an extended run last year.

Man City are scary good

Or Leicester City are pathetic and Brendan Rodgers is a fraud. Or both.

They’re still very streaky IMO. They rack up points and GD by going on a good run of form, then they’ll drop some silly points later. Still very catchable, IMO.

Have you looked at City results lately ? Also, Leicester isn’t a horrible team. To beat them with this many goals is note worthy I would argue. I don’t see why one would ignore that City are very good really.

Well, I hope you are right.

The side that Leicester has on the field ain’t great. Of regular starters, they are missing Fofana, Justin, Evans, Vardy, Pereira, Soyuncu, Daka, Barnes.

Playing Citeh with no 2nd string central defenders is a disaster, their one weakness is genuinely good finishing from a striker.

People were saying this about Chelsea earlier this season.

EDIT: I just looked up their recent results. Beating two COVID-decimated teams by large amounts, while struggling to beat 10-men Wolves without a dodgy penalty?

Problem is the two sides they’ve faced most recently are quite depleted.

Our side on Wednesday in the second half was too much for a better Leicester side than that.

Villa at least gave them a game and Wolves were conned.

Okay, I think they are scary good anyway.

This game against Leicester would be their ninth win in a row in the league since the loss at Palace in October. If that’s streaky form, then how would you describe ours (W6 D2 L1)?

We are doing well to stay in touch.

Wow, Norwich has not won a Boxing Day fixture since 1987!

Shoutout to LC, they doing better than I thought they would.

I’m amazed anybody would be shocked by it.

Same two ‘referees’ who didn’t give the pen on Jota at Spurs. Both from Greater Manchester. Today they review and give a soft as fuck pen to a team from Manchester.

And tonight people will talk about ‘inconsistency’ or ‘incompetence’ at worst.

It’s cheating and corruption. Simple as that.
