Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

Exactly. I don’t get these dismissals of Manchester City. I loathe the team, but they are excellent and will be hard to beat.

They are good, they found a will to win against teams we also struggled again, cricket scores* against depleted teams doesn’t tell you much though.

*Not England’s mind.

Well they are consistent :joy:

Trying to remember if Suarez got to play them on Boxing Day…he’d have had a hat-trick of braces…

Maddison game on . Ha

Who dismissed them? They are a very very good side, probably the best in the world, but I’m saying we can still catch them, and they do still drop silly points or go on bad runs now and again.

Until the next time Sterling dives for a pen, anyway

Antonio and West Ham have got a lot of joy with the pushing against the keeper at corners. With the refs allowing it to go on, I’m surprised more teams aren’t doing it to the extent that Antonio does it.

Yeah I’m not dismissing them either. Just don’t get the talk about how they’re inevitable.

We can catch them absolutely, but it will be difficult. I read some posts as dismissals, though it’s not important.

I get you - and for sure it will be very difficult, but if anyone can do it, it’s us.

They also bottle the CL every year, and have never won the European Cup. The cunts.

Saints penalty, scored 1-2 Southampton.

Fvcking Brendan Rogers. Plays a near full first team in moose cup only to then play the 2nd team vs City a few days later.

Said in the game thread they’ll lie down and die; four goals in 25mins…

Too many teams just lie down and die vs City

West Ham definitely sputtering of late.

Was a push outside the box, then a trip in the box. I felt it was a good call from VAR. Dawson tried to foul outside the box, but Broja tried to stay on his feet, and then got wiped out when trying to regain balance.

Of course, Kevin Friend had a good view, and should have given something before VAR intervened (even if he just would give a freekick for the obvious push).

Yeah, it’s a bastard, this. Was hoping they’d hold off United and condemn them wo the Europa Conference League or some shit.

I have never heard that word before. I had to look it up. Even at my age it is great to learn a new word :+1:
