Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

Would be ok with a draw but it’s clear they will score in injury time like always.

Two great chances for barcodes

They would be in a relegation battle without De Gea.

‘Utd have been better in the second half.’

‘They couldn’t have been any worse.’

Ends even, Newcastle will not be happy that was there for the taking.

Why would any modern manager or club be against the use of 5 subs?

Dubravka is absolute dogshit, almost gifted Cavani a winner. Disappointing for Newcastle that they couldn’t take all 3 points but that’s an indictment of how shit United are that they couldn’t beat second-bottom. I’ll take the point, since I figured there was no way United weren’t going to win this one before the game.

I don’t mind that result, a point is crap for both but probably worse for Man Utd.

There’s the best FPL team sorted.

Whoops! Callum Wilson appears to have torn his calf. ASM has also picked up a calf injury and Fraser has a hamstring injury. Wonder what Newcastle will do now.

January is just days away

Sink quietly into the Championship abyss, one would hope.

Chilwell is done for the season. They were trying to put off surgery on the knee he injured against Juve the other week, but apparently it wasn’t responding as they hoped so is now facing season-ending surgery.
