Ward-Prowse leathers one into Spurs goal. Good stuff
What a goal by Southampton
WTF was he thinking? PK and a red for Southampton.
Drooling one finishes it
Salisa stupid. Athletic, but stupid.
Southampton’s prospects all changed now. From looking good to hanging on, for more than half a game.
The Hammers putting pressure on Man United, Spurs faltering. Interesting. The fight for the Europa League places will be interesting. I think Manchester United will find it very hard to reach Top 4. A reinvigorated Arsenal seems a likely contender however. Arteta’s team is playing very well lately. And as a Norwegian, it is nice to see that Ødegaard is playing so well
Edit but yeah, red card to Southampton so Spurs are likely to win…
More interestingly, it will be interesting to see if Dean Smith will take them up again like Farke. I am not so sure, but then again, I didn’t like the Farke sacking at all and I may be completely wrong.
Tô me Farke looked a bit spent like the guy at Huddersfield.
At the end of the day you have to decide when you’ve done your best.
Norwich getting pounded by Palace - the kind of match-up they need to pick up a point in here and there.
I think after a couple of good results they’ve reverted back to the norm.
You are talking about David Wagner, or you wrote Huddersfield instead of Norwich.
No I was making a comparison between the two, I don’t think Norwich were doing anything more under Farke and I’m not sure he could do much more.
Smith doesn’t seem much better though it doesn’t surprise me as he would have gone down with Villa if it wasn’t for goal line technology fucking up.
I think the Championship is pretty much the same teams every year with one or two that step up such as Blackburn this year. So Norwich unless they are run by someone totally inept will probably come back up and Smith is good enough for that league.
Anyhow I’ll judge this Spurs side when they play a team that isn’t 10 men or isn’t being fucked over by the ref.
Kane goal offside by Var.
I don’t think anyone could do a much better job than Farke given the circumstances at hand. Possibly some could do a slightly better job, but probably not very much better. And that is my point and has always been my point.
I can understand the Farke change, even if I didn’t like it.
I agree he was doing about as good as could be expected, but with that said, it had gone flat, and Norwich very much look like a side who need a spark.
It won’t be coming this season in the Prem, as they are short of the required quality, but I can’t quite blame the owners for looking for a spark from somewhere.
Not sure who I would rather finish 4, probably West Ham for now.
If the owners wanted a spark, maybe they should have let him buy 2-3 players.
Another spurs goal ruled out for challenge on keeper.
They did though - he brought in about 11 or 12 players last summer including 3 or 4 loans.
