Fuckit. Brentford should have fucking scored.
This ref is a member of the Foden fan club.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he got caught sniffing fodens pants
Thought Brentford were shite.
Ghislaine Maxwell verdict live on the BBC…
On another note, I’m really over all the Quaker beards.
Also that goal should stand.
Ridiculous disallowing that.
I’d be fuming if it was us
Disagree. Thought they took it up to them as best they could with the tools they have, and they really shoulda scored in the first half.
He’s ginger - fuck him!
Love the singing from the Bretford fans: where were you when you were shit
Brentford have a 11 players out.
I think they’ve shown far more than most teams against Man City.
I’m harping on this again, but they also did really well against Chelsea, and arguably could have won.
We can still win the league, City and Chelsea are very much not inevitable. But we have got to pull ourselves together. If we can somehow win all our games until the end of AFCON, I’d be a lot more cheerful.
Frank saying he can’t decide between us and City as the best in the league.
The title is ours!
I didn’t know they had 11 out. So they did pretty well considering
We’d have won yesterday had we had 11 out.
If Man City repeat their first half of the season for the second half, we will need 17 wins and 2 draws to be level on points.
Shows how little margin for error there is, and it makes me pissed off about all the points dropped so far, especially the ones I thought we really didn’t need to be dropping.
In a perverse way, the pressure is off, at least until Citeh surprises everyone by dropping points. Saw a funny comment about needing to prioritize now. We don’t have any matches in Europe for weeks, there hasn’t been a time better positioned for Klopp to just try to win anything and everything, the one competition you truly you need to manage as a priority for is gone until Citeh says otherwise.
They’ve been generally ok against the better sides it’s the sides elsewhere they’ve struggled I have no doubt if Man Utd had played them two a lot more questions would be being asked about Man Utd.
6 points is a bit of a gap. Not sure why we’re all handing it to them on a plate and saying it’s over, though. We still have to play them and a win makes that 3. They still have to play United (okay, laugh) and Chelsea as well and a few iffy ones where they’ve dropped points in the recent past. We obviously need to up our game as well but I honestly don’t get the resignation.
Nope, I genuinely don’t get this either. They won the league last season with just 86 points. They’re on a good run results-wise thus far this season, but there’s nothing to suggest that it wasn’t a lot of luck (and refereeing aid).
Because football makes peoples brains turn to mush - they lose all sense and hope, everything crumbles around them, then they become angry and miserable. It’s a continuous cycle of negativity, which is fine, everyone can view the game as they want.
I’m more about being pragmatic and hopeful.
