Think a few days off + a change of scenery / warm weather training would be great for our players now but probably difficult because of the pandemic.
City first half of the season:
- out of League Cup early = fewer games
- easy fixture list during festive period
- no injuries
- no Covid
- one player at AFCON (no clear starter) - already returned
Games coming thick and fast now with FA Cup and CL.
Fatigue and injuries might hit them too from now on.
Can not see them having another +10 games winning run until the end of the season.
And I can see us have a better second half.
Will it be enough? We’ll see.
What’s important now is that we win our games until they drop points again.
Could happen early. Between their two CL games against Sporting they have ManU, Everton and Spurs.
