West Ham top of the league.
It seems weird that no one has ever scored 50 goals for West Ham. I guess Antonio now holds the record at 49.
Well, I guess that’s just PL goals. Some guy named Vic Watson poured in 326 total goals for WHU.
Great match by Antonio. Watched the highlights. He caused havoc everywhere. If he played like that every match, my.
He’s one of my favorite non LFC players. Saw an interview with him a while back and he came across as an intelligent and grounded plus he can be an absolute beast on the pitch at times. He’s caused us no end of problems on the pitch but nevermind, I always look out for what he’s done come match days.
From Wikipedia:
During the 2019 United Kingdom general election, Antonio endorsed Sara Kumar, the Conservative Party candidate in the West Hamconstituency.
Can’t be that intelligent.
In my defense I have no idea who that is soooo…
He gets similar plaudits every season. I think he is often injured though which maybe why he hasn’t moved on from the hammers.
So after Klopp’s comments, and Dyche being a big hypocritical fanny in response, then Shearer giving it all “didn’t see anything wrong here lads, maybe it’s because Burnley are all white”. as well.
Trolled by the lads…

‘An embarrassment to rugby players the world over’
I want to finish this column on what can only be described as an embarrassment to rugby union and rugby league players around the world.
When Premier League managers are saying our game is becoming like rugby… please! I nearly fell off my chair, I cringed. It was an embarrassment.
In rugby union and rugby league, players put their bodies on the line. Go and watch a rugby game live and hear the hits and then see if you turn around and say football is going down the rugby route.
How is football turning into rugby when you can barely even tackle now?

Terry McDermott was diagnosed with dementia. Gerd Müller was diagnosed 5 years ago und died last week.
So many legends of the game suffering from their playing days and these pundits making fun of managers who are trying to protect the players.
Personally I enjoy the physical part of the game - surely Klopp and Ole do too. But only as long as players have to take the consequences - bookings, sent offs, bans.
Shocking that Burnley had zero yellow cards on Saturday.
I’m actually fairly annoyed at the way Klopp’s comments have been so widely misrepresented. His main issue was nothing to do with anything that happened in the Burnley game. His principal concern was how the challenge on Leno by wasn’t deemed a foul.
I think he also referenced Tarkowski shoving Maupay?
I think he’s got a point, both are fouls for me.
Maybe, twisted is more apt.
Premier League clubs, have agreed not to release players for international games in red list countries.
It is the only sensible decision.
Sounds great but what is FIFA thinking about it?
I’ve not seen any response from FIFA yet.
I’m curious how this play’s out since you normally have to release them.
We would lose four of our best players against Leeds and CP + a CL match. That same shit could happen in October and November too.
As I understand it, FIFA are fine with it.
They were, I assume we’ve found some loophole otherwise it is likely 12 games without them if you include all four breaks.
Maybe they could have played all these in the summer instead of the pointless tournament they held.
That’s too sensible mind.
The statement from the Egyptian FA seems to suggest they can’t demand it.
Thing is if I travel to these countries I would have to quarantine so I’m really not sure how it works anyhow.
Considering it’s 3-4 days away it’s a bit of a mess, did they expect clubs to go yeah that’s fine.
I don’t like the idea but will accept it if they aren’t quarantined anything else I’ll be angry.
My issue is that if Burnley want to be hard men, that’s fine. I back our lads to stand up to that and give a fair amount back. But you can’t be hard men and soft pussies.
Burnley were roughing up our lads, most notably the 18 year old making his debut, but went down like a sack of shit when any of our lads went near them.
I lost count of the number of times a Burnley player but the deck feigning a head injury. That’s not just shit-house, it’s actively dangerous - gaming protocols designed to protect players which are based on trust between the officials and the players.
