Spurs absolutely did.

You seriously think Spurs are a threat? :flushed:

This has been one of the best homer refereeing displays I’ve seen for a while.

There is also honour and the amusement of leaving them behind when it comes to points, since they are among the bigger clubs in England. The dream scenario (which is of course very unlikely, lol) is us winning the league with a lot of points down to contenders. So if Spurs gets Top 4, which imo they have a good chance at (but maybe not favorites to make it), then it also fun being a lot of points above them in that particular context  Because crushing it is always preferable

I absolutely love an 18 year old tennis star just took away all the headlines from Penaldo (the pen stands for penis) and his return…

Important win for us.

Hoping this will give us a boost for 6 points against Palace and Brentford before we play City at home.

Looking at that table, it’s quite obvious who the best four teams are. Look at that GD. The pretenders (read Totts, LC, WHU) will be chasing for 5th and 6th.

Everton could push Cheaty out of the top 4 tomorrow…!
Just saying is all

Next week

Liverpool - Palace
West Ham - ManU
Spurs - Chelsea

The week after
Chelsea - City
Brentford - Liverpool

Then we play City at Anfield.

Would be great if we are Top3 or even Top2 after that.

Hope Burnley gets smashed tonight.

Isn’t Burnley playing Everton today? Why would you want Everton to chalk up more on goal difference?

I just don’t want Everton’s players continue to build up confidence.

The two MMA clubs kicking f*** out of each other…!
Although… under Rafa, he may not allow it from his side no more

I would like both to lose.

Good start from Burnley. Nothing quite like that weird collective sound the Ev fans make when they’re angry.

Should have been a red card for Tarkowski. That was horrendous.

Last five minutes or so have shown again exactly why Klopp was so irate in our fixture with them. Just needless aggression and cynicism with their tackling.

And then Townsend gets booked for that, jesus.

Think Burnley deserve that on the balance of play. Everton have been really poor, would expect them to dominate possession in a game like this but it seems like they’ve been content to be quite direct against opposition that are comfortable dealing with that play style.
