Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

Just came on here after watching City v Chelsea and gotta say either City were superb or Chelsea were rubbish. Massive gulf between the 2 from what I saw.

Quickly then jumped over to Villa match. How sweet.

Wow, how could Bruno be allowed to take the penalty with Ronaldo on the pitch. Crazy, might be his last.

If I was a Chelsea fan and the team would have spent this much on attackers, I would be disappointed with that brand of football at home.

Very pleased with the results. Now upon us to get the job done and take advantage of this.

Yes; also Chelseas tactics are nicely set up to combat City yet they lose and at home, that really does put us and Shitty as title condenders, doesn’t it?

Don’t forget folks… Scum have to play Villareal on Wednesday…!
Pressure really building on Golum now… :joy:

Well that was nice. MU losing, get penalty that Ole has been begging for. Nice hit Bruno, now it’s Ron on penalties, haha.

I would have preferred a draw for Chelsea s City, but city really deserved 3 points.

Only one unbeaten team left in the Premier League. But it can’t be Liverpool as they didn’t spend enough money in the summer.

Chelsea thoroughly mediocre at home today, maybe the press will stop wanking over Tuchel for a week or two. City was solid, but nothing exceptional - they probably have a couple of higher gears than what they showed today.

Sounds very much the same way Chelsea were set up against us. I kind of expected it on the road (even without the red card they didn’t attack much)but at home it does surprise me especially considering how this City team has been of recent times.

Going off the stats no shots on goal is poor even against Man City.

Effectively they are going try and win the league by beating the other 15 clubs by cricket scores. It’s risky way of trying to do so as someone will grind out results against you at times.

I think I’ll watch Leeds v West Ham

I think they could very easily have had a couple of shots on counters, in the first half in particular. But otherwise I think you have it captured about right. City’s press was generally controlling the game.

What a turgid display by Chelsea. It’s hard to believe the oddsmakers have them above us. Tuchel is just a politer Mourinho. Utter crap bore of a match.

100%. City were always the main rivals, and that’s why it’s so important that we win tonight and thump them next week. Lay down a marker that we’re the fucking champions and we shall not be moved. #20 is coming (cumming?) this season, lads.

Cornet just scored a screamer.

This Norwich side seems worse than the one that went down, kind of expect them to dump Farke this time around, however whether they will go with the shitty Merry go round magicians or decide to appoint for a return we will see.

I think that’s me writing them off already.

Does seem with Brentford coming up that effectively what’s left is too strong for the Championship but too weak for the PL.

Good to see Coventry with a strong start mind be nice for their fans after such a horrible few years. Bournemouth have started well mind.
