Norwich picks up their first point of the season.
Leeds win 1-0 first of the season.
The Blind Horse, wearing 11 on his saddle cloth, finally got his first goal of the season.
EDIT: but the real story of this match is Adam Armstrong. The PL has seen some real plugs down the years, but I legitimately don’t think I’ve ever seen a player so lazy, so cowardly, and so horrific at football as Adam Armstrong. Shame on Ralph for ever picking such a bag of crap. But congrats to Blackburn for their absolute heist of £15M.
Leicester, Leeds, Southampton, and Wolves will struggle this season.
But I doubt neither of those teams will go down.
Arsenal is, dare I even say it, playing actually quite well the last few games. I think they will either collapse or beat Brighton resoundingly. I think actually Arsenal will win this one. Just got that impression that they have found some inspiration and form.
I hope not. But not sure about Southampton, they have cheated death too many times.
I think Southampton has played too well the last few seasons to go down myself tbh. They have been a fairly good team I would say. Maybe this year will be different though.
Would say there are still at least three teams in the division who are worse than them, they have a decent fixture list for the next couple of months as well where they should expect to pick up some more points.
That was woeful from Ramsdale, lucky to get away with that.
I wish referees would clamp down on players holding and pushing in the penalty area. Jon Moss has just done the usual thing that refs do and told two players to stop. This is irritating, why not just award a penalty, when they see it happening?
Arsenal hanging on.
They need to start getting some of these on target at least.
Arsenal are fortunate Brighton are crap in front of goal.
Is Lallana playing, I miss that chap.
Brighton with 8 shots and none on target, sounds about right.
He’s playing very well.
Only a matter of time before it’s 1-0 to the arse.
Thomas Partey hits the free-kick and it is still rising as it smashes into the stand behind the goal.
