It always feels like Liverpool are the recipient of a new managers first game. The new manager bounce always concerns me.

Problem is what bounce are they getting, hardly been rubbish

Always felt we had more often a manager’s final game.

Its probably both.

yeah, very strange sacking to be honest.

Claudio is a PL winner. Should have waited for the Arsenal job imo.

Who’s to say he’ll still be in a job when that one comes up with Watford’s track record

More sportswashing from another human rights abusing country. No worries come on in…

The faux outrage hypocrisy at the super league laid bare.

If true, that ends any interest we had

Probably why we didn’t follow through with a bid, assuming these things are at least suspected or known before the police actually take things to the next step. Jurgen seems to put huge importance on the character of the players he wants to sign.

I think it only just happened yesterday, so would have had no impact on any previous interest, only for a January/next summer bid.

Exactly this.

Bein have resolved their dispute with Saudi Arabia over broadcasting so looks like another team to be backed by a nation state.

Suppose with us it’s what we do, these teams will always spend big but it shows that it’s not always producing results. Man City have remained up there but have yet to win the biggest prize and Chelsea have had spells. We have been off at times but we are still there and there abouts. Klopp is the big if here and he has produced miracles, I think it probably leaves FSG nearer the door than anything.

There are wealthy owners with less dubious wealth funds and I would hope if we were sold it was to them. Expect more funding coming in from third parties such as the red bird stuff.

Not really. A lot of people don’t like either the ESL (under whatever guise) or sportswashing.

It’s sad if those are the only choices supporters have.
