Premier League 2021/22 (Part 1)

What a calm finish by Iheanacho, too. No nerves at all.

Vardy 2-0 crazy score after palace dominated

I want the Foxes to find some form so they can show Utd who the fourth best team in England really is.

I think they are now very much an away team. Strike force is ideally suited for counter play, however as an attacking side they seem to struggle. Solskjaer might just be willing to give them what they need, but most visitors won’t.

Yeah…they certainly seem to have lost any sense of initiative. Only half-watching mind…

Olise one back for palace.

Any team news yet?

Woeful defending from Leicester there, Palace have more than deserved that.

Schmeichel seems always to claim either offside or a foul when he sees the ball go past him into the net.

On the match day thread yes.

Son’s a quality player.

Palace should be in a better place than they are at the Table.

They keep playing like this they will give everyone fits. Strong, consistent pressing. Have good ballhandling talent through midfield and some speed on the pitch.

Nasty, gegen-esque pressing in stoppage time. What an effort from those Palace players.

Memo to Lee Dixon. The Jackie Stewart look is not working. Cut the mullet.

Generally, I like the new foul rules. Rewards strong, fair, shoulder-to-shoulder challenges. Strength is not punished. Weakness is.

Think the new foul rules helped Milner today. The foul by him just before our second goal would have been a second yellow last season. Imo the foul wasn’t a bookable offence. It was a foul but not any foul after been on a yellow is an automatic yellow.

If I’m not mistaken we’re the only unbeaten PL team.

Chelsea (with 10 men), Brentford City (took the lead twice) - think we could have had more points by now.

Unbeaten in Premier and Champions leagues. The others have been beaten in both.

I don’t remember Everton losing in the Champions League. :joy_cat:
