Traore is better than he’s given credit for. That type of player usually comes in for more stick than they deserve. For years Zaha got it, but without him Palace would have been relegated. It was sneaking in for ASM before it became abundantly clear Newcastle wouldn’t score a goal without him on the pitch. Sarr’s come in for his fair bit of it as well, we had a few people on here claiming Harry Wilson is better ffs. These types don’t always have their impact and importance reflected in their G/A tallies.
Traore was shite last year but he’s a good premier league player.

Definitely not shit, and his dribbles cut defenses open. HIs finishing is rightly criticized, however. With the positions he gets in, he needs to be either scoring more or providing more assists. 19/20 looks like an outlier at the moment, though it would be fun to see him have a big season.

I thought it was Trent who named him as one of his toughest opponents (along with Zaha…) Could be wrong though, and yes I’ve seen him burn past Robbo.
I wasn’t slighting him btw, just more he meets his match v’s a Robbo/Trent and I’d say they cancel eachother out most of the time… His end product is lacking, if he improved that he’d be pushing to play for us. So my point was more against a poor defender he gets enough goes to create several top quality chances v’s against a good defender he might create one or two decent.
All the players you’ve mentioned will have been or still be on our shortlist I’d say.

Yeah before we brought in Kostas the Warrior.
Didn’t see him do anything great at Newcastle , but he was alright for a backup left back at Norwich though.
