To be fair we totally battered them it’s just their goalie showed up that day.
Why don’t you tell us how you really feel …
Well it’s just another eg of how we have had so many things that little bit harder. Even the match scheduling: away to Newcastle with a 12:30 sat after wed night CL; away to Southampton who have had 10days to prepare and Wolves who will have a full week; meanwhile Cheaty get to play a villa team the that will have just played on Thursday.
And why should I like Eddie Howe? He’s been a right cunt since taking the sandcastle blood money
No argument there but remember, the tougher it gets the sweeter all those prizes are.
We already have two, and still a 50/50 chance on the CL and an outside chance -can’t believe I’m saying this- to win the league.
I think Arteta has done an excellent job for Arsenal.
Isn’t some of this part of the fact we are going for these trophies, if I’m honest I’ve been very unhappy with the way BT have gone about the scheduling this season deffo feels like a screw job at times (why we kicked off at 7.45pm after a Tuesday CL game and 12.30pm after a Wednesday one was baffling). There isn’t much scope to put our game anywhere else (The UEFA final does take precedent and I’d rather Klopp lay off blaming them on this occasion) but I’m not sure why Burnley and Everton are playing on Thursday, have they seriously not had a place to fill these games (only Chelsea and Leicester makes sense due to Europe).
The alternative is a 6pm which is what is done in Europe but not so over here, but it’s a solution that should have been considered especially in a season of uncertainty. Hardly like our fans who are going would not have to take the day off anyhow.
Does anyone know if Spurs a looking for a new chef for their pre-match meals?
I make a pretty mean lasagne
Where is the real Dutch and what have you done to him??
Thats an interesting thought…what happens if someone comes to the FA and broadcasting companies with lots of money asking for a named club to be shown in a specific slot…?
That already essentially happens. Advertising and viewership rates have a direct influence on scheduling. Big clubs will always get a disproportionate number of the early and late Saturday kickoffs.
So for example a rich benefactor could pay for City to get favourable time slots and Liverpool the inconvenient ones?
Probably not quite as direct as that, but behind closed doors, who knows. You would just need to make the right advertisement time offers.

Haha @Everton
They usually given a rota of choices if I remember so I think say if Sky pass it up then it can end up on BT first off on a given weekend. I think BT feature all 20 teams in their 12.30 slot. Sky a few more times as they have more slots.
Of course they could easily have moved Newcastle to 8pm on the Saturday and the other to 12.30pm I looked if there was any reason but none I could see.
Why are three Premier League games being played on Thursday night, instead of Wednesday? This gives those teams one day less to recover before the final day of the season on Sunday. Thursday is a strange night for football anyway.
So as not to interfere with the Europa league final tomorrow.
Why did we have to play today?
The guys who do the fixtures in the PL are on the same level as the refs.
A bunch of fucking bankers.
Frankly, I’d rather take Southampton with less rest than Wolves with less rest.
