I went into last night hoping for something and expecting nothing, I think that’s the best way to go about it. If Man City start smashing teams it will probably lead to a slip up as it did in our title winning season.
Football is a crazy game and stuff beyond what we can expect does happen, win our 6 and if they pip us then hopefully we win a cup treble instead.

1-0 Burnley.
Peach of a goal on his weaker foot.
Weghorst should be making that 2, the big useless lump.
That was a pretty goal from Roberts.
Burnley should be out of sight by now if not for Forster.
2 keepers in this game both better than Pickford.
How far up the table does the relegation scrap realistically go for the last spot? Could Villa potentially be pulled in?
A Burnley win puts Everton under pressure for the derby on Sunday. Their players will be edgy before a ball is kicked.

Aren’t they always edgy just by being Everton players?
It would make me edgy as fuck.

3-0 not sure if it will stand.
3-0?
Certainly not offside and for me that’s a keeper error.
Should stand.
Handballs it doesn’t he?

Looked like a handball but I didn’t see what they ruled it for?
Typical JWP free kick but Pope read it all the way.
Offside from Rodriquez to Cork.

Burnley have got themselves a cause
Burnley 2-0 Southampton

There is a sense of purpose about Burnley this evening, a desire and hunger to achieve something.
A victory tonight, together with a better goal difference, will have Everton sweating again and because of their terrible goal difference, Leeds just above them are not safe.
Aston Villa look OK - but Burnley still have to play them twice. If the Clarets get four points from those games, there will be a bit of nervousness at Villa Park.

Ah right can see that, bit tight to judge on the images I saw kind.
