Agreed on all of this. Posted about this same thing a few months back. I believe it was in a Lancashire newspaper, showed the broad strokes of this leveraged deal, and how absolutely crushing financially it would be for the club to be relegated as a result of how it’s structured. Awful deal for Burnley club.
I knew that it was leveraged out the wazoo, and therefore that relegation would be catastrophic. What is news to me is that the catastrophe could be mere weeks away with a demand note.
