Premier League 2021/22 (Part 2)

They still have to be big favourites for it , but … away to Wolves on a wednesday night , not easy…and …away to West Ham who will be desperate for any European footy next year.

Win those two and it’s probably theirs , but after last night , well who knows ?

After last night, I bet they are mentally gone and will lose all 4 of their remaining games.

You heard it hear first folks

I hope Klopp and his team watch the spuds vs Brighton game Brighton basically cut out the supply lines to Kane Son and kulusevski hence those 3 had very little of the ball and Brighton were able to win quite comfortably?

There were two midweek windows available for City for the rescheduled Wolves game. It’s maybe now relevant, when they would probably like a bit of a breather, that it was scheduled for the earlier opportunity (next midweek, rather than before the final weekend) so its now stacked on top of this result. That means in the immediate aftermath of this result they have to play 3 games in a week, including 2 away, their likely hardest remaining ones of the season. I’d imagine under these circumstances they’d preferred to have put that on the following midweek instead now.

I imagine peps head is like a pressure cooker right now, and the whistle’s about to blow.

This reminds me very much of the way g+h bought LFC at the time.

That’s because it was, I think. Both sound like leveraged buy-outs, and that’s why our sale to FSG were managed by RBS.

City will beat themselves if they do slip, What I hope happens is some clubs have a bit more belief after last night. First time since Spurs someone went at them.

Next 10 days, Wolves 3 points behind, game in hand, 6gd behind.

Weekend
Wolves (away) play Chelsea away.
West Ham (away) play Norwich away.

Wednesday
Wolves (home) play City (catch-up game).

Next Weekend
West Ham (home) play city.
Wolves (home) play Norwich.

Wolves ideally want at least 4 points from the next two games. 7 points over the next 3 games.
West Ham want at least 4 points from the next 2 games.

Last game, Wolves (away) vs Liverpool, West Ham (away) vs Brighton.

Oooh fairly even run in to the end of the season. I still don’t think they’ll bottle it now that they’ve decided to free up their schedule.

They’re mentally fucked, coming up against a resurgent Newcastle this weekend, then two away games against teams battling for the last Euro spot.

They’re dropping some fucking points.

Add to that Stevie seeking revenge they’ll drop points in all of their remaining games

Hope Newcastle starts with the same intensity they’ve started against us.

But it has to last the whole game not 10 minutes :unamused:
