My Chelsea-supporting mate said on the day that Fergie retired “United has 27 years (Fergie’s tenure length) of bad karma coming.” I figured they’d go from winning most years to being mostly 2nd-3rd, but if you told me the biggest thing they’d do was win the F.A. Cup, I’d laugh. They deserve everything they get. 9 years down, hopefully another 18+ to go!

Recruited exceptionally well, Lamptey was like a few mill, Veltman like 500k, Cucurella was like 10m or so.

Obvs not as good as ours but…I think if they find a proper striker who can bang 20 goals a season they’ll easily finish top 6.

Moyes tally of points was better than LVG the season after as well as one of Mourinho’s.

Was one of those seasons where it would have been top four the season before.

I think Ole was the real shit show he was backed to the hilt.
