Premier League 2022/23 (Part 1)

Baseball I think takes the All Star game fairly seriously, or maybe not the game but the Homerun Derby seems to be quite a big deal.

The NBA and NFL All Star games get a lot of criticism for being uncompetitive and uninteresting. Mostly the attempts at defence are half-hearted at best precisely because they don’t want to get injured and in the NFL the best players don’t even play in the game anyway because they have the Super Bowl the following week.

I like that he’s thinking outside the box, certainly there are many things the Premier League and football in general can do better but this one is not the greatest idea.

Is Bohly just suggesting Soccer Aid but with current Prem players instead of celebs?

I was actually shocked how much they win for the home run derby.

So Villa v Soton then…Pretty 50/50 game which are the ones you want to be shown live as a neutral.

For Stevie’s sake I hope Villa win and win well.

Villa XI - Martinez Young Konsa Mings Digne Kamara Mcginn Ramsey Bailey Coutinho Watkins

Soton XI - Bazunu KWP Salisu Bella-Kotchap Perraud Diallo JWP Djenepo Elyounessi Armstrong Adams

Saints started the better.

Villa have been so poor.

So glad we never signed Mcginn

Watched better games in the championship.

Just a flat game in every aspect.

Leon Bailey is horrible.

Watkins really struggling this season.

Villa lead 1-0

Short corner, Mings header off bar and then Ramsey there to poach in the rebound.

Villa score Ramsey .

Phil so good in the last few minutes.

Of course VAR gets involved.

Just get the fuck out the game.

Does Luiz genuinely practice scoring directly from corners?

Anyway Coutinho territory here.
