Premier League 2022/23 (Part 1)

Not surprised they went off the beaten track.

Hopefully this statement will follow in the footsteps of Brentford and West Ham to win.

Ex Shaktar boss takes over at Brighton. Seems to be a shrewd appointment as his Shaktar team was enjoyable to watch from memory if limited in ability, but playing in the Ukrainian league is never going to be of the highest standard

100% certain theyā€™ll get the job doneā€¦in the reverse fixture.

Congrats to the Arse for winning the league in September.

Time for some predictions. Who is going to win it in November for the World Cup break?

Not us

so what you are saying is that Arsenal is gonna finish 3rd behind City who is gonna be 2nd as we are winning the league?

No silly.

What Iā€™m saying is Arsenal gonna finish in 6th behind City who gonna be 5th as we are winning the league.

Iā€™m sorry if I made it come across like it was anything different.

Not really against any of that.

Possibly allow the FL clubs to choose home or away in the FA Cup draw and keep the European spot in the Carabao cup. Suppose they would have to consider announcing a squad for the Carabao cup.

I really hope that teams in Europe are not involved in the league cup. Itā€™s good experience for the U21s, but then they should play all the way up to and including the final.

Having seen the results in the other cup they arenā€™t getting close to the final not when you add PL and Championship sides

It all overlooks the elephant in the room. International football in itā€™s current form - constant 2 week breaks for friendlies very few give a fuck about, shite competitions like the Nations league and playoffs to see who gets to the WC etc - needs fucking sorting out.
Itā€™s the never-ending greediness of UEFA and FIFA that needs looking at. In effect older fans like myself who have been brought up on 2 domestic cup competitions will be having one taken away to accommodate shite most of us have no interest in.

Gabriel looks fine as hell. Darwin looks like he lead character from a ā€œSheā€™s All Thatā€ type movie before sheā€™s been done up.

Why does Virgil look like sheā€™s had the most work done?

Maguire still looks to have not just fallen out of the fugly tree, but smacked every branch before landing face first on cement

Haaland is the ugljest, whether as male or female.

Maguire just looks like every girl in Wigan

Nunez looks like Winona Ryder there!

Sterlingā€™s quite nice there, definitely reminds me of someone else whoā€™s famous but Teyonah Parrisā€™ face keep popping up in my head.
