Premier League 2022/23 (Part 1)

That Bruno Gumirares has been 1 of the signings of the summer.

Thier squad is dreadful, should have been relegated long before now.

He’s done well with what he’s got.

Signed in January.

Ha! Fooled me. I thought you meant Villa. Was waiting, waiting…

Crazy, eh? Threw three elbows, the last after play had stopped.

Business as usual this weekend. We win, and Man Utd mess up. Good to see.

We’ve been poor this season, but need to grind out them wins now.

And Everton lost too. Let’s party like it’s 2019.

And four points ahead of us…

I actually didn’t look at the table for ages - I’ve just done that and realised that Tottenham would have been thirteen points ahead of us had they won tonight… That’s a scary thought indeed, even though this win doesn’t guarantee anything (but it’s at least a step in the right direction). We really screwed up against relegation candidates - one solitary point against Everton, Nottingham Forest and Leeds in games we should have comfortably won, even though we played in a disjointed manner.

Can’t change the past only change the future and I think we have a lot more to give, I’m not sure if a few of those teams higher than us do.

Let’s see where it takes us, Derby and Soton next.

Our top level is obviously still well above United, them being only 4 points ahead of us despite all of our injuries and other problems says it all really.

Would be very surprised if they were still above us come the end of the season.
