Premier League 2022/23 (Part 1)

Villa were that club , forty years ago. European and English champions at one time.

Up until 2012, Birmingham had won more European Cups than London.

To get you ready for bias commentary during the World Cup here is Tyler and Neville.

:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

This defending by both sides so far is bad.

Liverpool getting sung about during Fulham vs Man United. Embarrassing

Dumb n dumber

Can’t be arsed with them commentating on it. I’ll switch over to Milan.

Fernandes with a wayward shot deflected straight into Eriksen’s path.

Jammy fuckers.

Neville and Tyler asked for tissues after he scored.

Yeah, and sorry, wasn’t clear. Aston Villa is for sure a historic club. But in today’s contemporary pond, they are small and cannot compete with the big foreign owned clubs. AC Milan as an example is a historic titan but can’t compete on signings with PSG or Real Madrid. For Villa to then get the Voivode Vlad Dracula, it is a pretty giant coup indeed !

I think Tyler thought it was off side because his reaction was delayed.

Fulham is so dross :rage:

Leave it to the bastards to play like gangbusters against us but rollover and play dead against City (with 10 men) and this Man U who are a shadow of what they used to be

To be fair we only showed up for 20 mins.

Most of the analysis of the PL is based on experience of prior PL campaigns.

However, this is a season like no other. IMO, all the projections from prior PL seasons go out the window.

The closest precedence for me is the American NFL post season. Everyone starts from zero. Yes the top 4 teams start with the points gap they have over the next 3-4. But that is the only thing from the first part that carries over.

We’ve hardly scratched the story of this season methinks…

They didn’t play like champions. They won because we played badly while they had a good game, I watched the game. And United are only 1 ahead, Fulham hasn’t rolled over imo.

DDG keeping (no pun intended) United in this. Made some very good saves.

No doubt he’ll go down as a legend there, but I wonder if he’ll look back on his career and regret sticking around as long as he did. Or he’ll just be happy enough with all his millions.

Least Fulham deserve, De Gea been keeping them in it until that point.
