Premier League 2022/23 (Part 1)

Gotta be said Eddie Howe is doing wonders with that side, even without Isak and ASM not getting in the team they look like a completely different team.

Soton 2-0 down a bit of a meh own goal.

He’s got pace but not able to use it correctly.

I’m sure they will play the perfect Catanaccio on Friday.

Was going to post the same. They did something similar last season after a run of poor results if I remember correctly.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are flying. I still can’t my head around how Howe turned them into a genuine top four contenders in about a year.

It probably helped that the new owners warned the players about losing their heads(allegedly)

Bitters thread.

Palace down to 9 men

I have been surprised by how much I can’t stand Newcastle. I had forgotten all about them, but now that the action has resumed I am remembering. They are steamrollering Leicester and making a move to hold on to top four.

Given their financial backing it is only a matter of time before they are up there. Hopefully that is kept at bay for as long as possible. If they finish top four this season it is ahead of schedule and will make them harder to overcome, as their recruitment will go up a notch too.

Brighton 3-0

Diego Costa more fouls and fights than touches of the ball.

Love how Amazon updating scores from other games like 20 minutes later.

The home teams have really not had the best of days have they.

Hope the trend continues. :crossed_fingers:

Costa still looks almost a handful, but it’s fine margins. You’d think hanging around in front of goal he’d make a difference at some point, but no goals in seven games.

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Hahahahahahahahah Everton

Well played Wolves 1-2

Adama Traore actually picking out the right pass.
