Premier League 2022/23 (Part 1)

It would give Kellhner some games anyhow.

Yep…Once they’re in the box, Toney swivels his body around to look where the ball is…defender isn’t even looking at the ball and has his arm clearly around his upper body.

So. Pen.

Wait wtf, why they interviewing Frank Thomas at HT?

Tony duped the ref, and VAR bottled it.
Tony clamped the defenders arm to his body and if anything he fouled the defender in the end.
Fact that he went down and defender didn’t was enough to fool them.

2-0 Brentford

Lovely hit by Jensen.

United are now a point behind City, and nailed on for a CL spot.
How we laughed at them last year.

Rashford was offside today for Fernandez goal, another weird decision in the whole scheme of things. But if City were considered challengers then Utd now are as well.

Now, right now I fucking hate football.

Bold statement with more than half the season still to play

If they keep getting decisions like today they certainly will.

That goal was probably 1 of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen since Bruno was awarded a pen for a leg breaking challenge on Konsa.

Absolutely!

Thought I was the only one who saw it.

This is what VAR was supposed to help address…

Pep - ā€œI don’t care that we don’t win the carabao cup, I don’t care that we don’t win the Premier Leagueā€

ā€œThere are stadiums where we know where we playā€

I think I’m starting to warm to this guy.

Doubt the midfielder we should have brought in last summer or on January 1st would have made a difference against Brighton and Brentford.

For the last 6 years our frontline tied down 5 to 7 opponents. The front three were always the furthest defenders on the pitch.

At the moment we have 4 high quality senior attackers out injured.

Salah on his own with Gakpo who is being thrown in without time to settle.

Ox, Doak and Carvalho don’t have the presence the other four would have.

And that’s where the main problem starts on the pitch imo (not trying to defend other players Performances here).

Bobby, Darwin, DĆaz and Diogo being out is the equivalent of Vvd, Gomez and Matip being injured in the 20/21 season.

Speaking on that last crisis season. It heavily looked like Conference League back then but then we turned it around with 10 wins out of the last 10 (I believe).

Good news is we still have 20 games left this season.

All I’m interested in now is when Darwin and Bobby will be back and hopefully Diogo is less than four weeks away.

What a challenge by Diop…Longstaff probs would’ve been offside.

Quick, crisp passing by CP has Chelsea under pressure.

Would be truly humorous for both Everton and WHU to go down. One massive stadium in place and another being built. Lots of room for traveling supporters.

We are so lucky we have Chelsea being worse than us to take away some of the spotlight.

They are shocking
