Premier League 2022/23 (Part 1)

DT really picked the wrong few years to go to prison.

Every time I’ve watched Arsenal this season it feels like they have an extra player on the pitch. Remarkable the levels they’ve gone up in such a short space of time.

Yup, they’re definitely back to be darlings of the country.
Fucking shocking decision yesterday.

Ludicrous opinion.
If he wasn’t Engurlish, this ridiculous notion would never have surfaced

Doesn’t change a thing, it was clear as day it was offside on first viewing.

Rashford was there right until and even after Bruno took the kick.

So confused how that’s not a penalty for Spurs. Yes Hojberg had already kicked it but the defender ends up planting his leg down just above his ankle.

Are we saying you can’t foul someone if they don’t have the ball?

Quite a few painful Rashford shouts on this bleary Sunday.

Looked shinned…

Doesn’t change anything. Rashford didn’t play the ball.

Does the “Law” say you’re only offside if you play the ball?

No but it says it is not an offence to be in an offside position and him being there changes nothing…City defenders would not have got to Fernandez anyway

On second viewing, opinion doesn’t change. Really bad tackle by Saliba and should have been a foul.

If Rashford had impeded Walker’s attempt to play the ball, then he’s in the play, and it’s offside.

Doesn’t Hojberg just fall over Saliba, who’s just lying on the pitch after falling short of Hojberg?

True.

In your controversial opinion.

Yes. Saliba is static on the floor not even looking at Hojbjerg then Hojbjerg play acts and stays on the ground like someone’s broken his leg.

Embarrassing.

No, Saliba makes a second movement and his right foot plants on Hojberg’s ankle.

Hopefully Spurs aren’t coming back from this.

Spurs showing a bit of life…what a strange side.
