The ‘goal’ was totally against the run of play. Up until the goal West Ham had been atrocious and were playing more like the away team. Ward-Prowse was out-performing the supposedly wonderful Rice.
What happens to all the bloody lines we get…that are calculated to a bee’s fart width of a shirt sleeve…farce, absolute farce.

There were about 2-3 already stood in an offside position before kick was taken (probably worked on in training) but none of them interfere in anyway, guy who scored was onside. No issue there other than taking 4 mins to get it right.

Aye, that one is a great example of the advantage of the semi-automated approach they used in the world cup. The challenge the VAR seemingly had was trying to see through the confusion of so many bodies trying to pick the right spot for the respective players. Difficult to see it as much more than glorified guess work.
