Yep, Toon have the foot in the door they needed to get serious in the transfer market.

Liverpool can get a maximum of 71 points. So the challengers must not get more than 70 points.

Brighton needs 22 from their remaining 29
Aston Villa can only get 69
Tottenham can get a maximum of 71
United needs just 12 from their remaining 24
Sandcastle needs just 12 from their remaining 21

Hopefully Spurs will continue this defensive display through next weekend

Wait up, you mean they arenā€™t serious in the transfer market yet? A net spend of 200 million pounds in one season is not serious???

Did Conte bring Stellini to the Club?

If so I can not understand how they kept him when Conte left.

They bought a whole new team after being bought by the Saudi state.

Is FFP actually dead???

Cheaper.

The implosion of Liverpool, Spurs, and Chelsea helped too.

And Howe has also delivered on his promise as a manager.

To be fair heā€™s done a decent job.

Yeah heā€™s had the money, but look at Chelsea. 600m and clueless

They have a really settled, impressive back 5 and they didnā€™t even need that much to address it.

Buying a sensibly would be a far better option for this lot.

As much as you want to disparage Manchester both cities are a world apart in how they are viewed internationally.

Sign anyone and everyone like Chelsea you could disrupt the whole thing.

Kane will definitely be leaving after this season surely

3-0 Rice

They have brought in a lot of players and spent good money, but other than Issak none of them have been of a profile that made their signing a surprise or forced them to have to compete with a big club for their signature. Getting into the champions league will now make them viable for the sort of players who teams like PSG will be looking at. You look at a club like Napoli who might be raided this summer and Newcastle would not have been in the equation last summer for any of those players. Now, if they want to be, they will be.

Back to the Snooker.

My concern with Newcastle is they Jack up the prices, ideally we qualify for some European competition because non Europe does hurt in my view.

Depends if players can see the bigger picture, Newcastle wonā€™t be competing with PSG off one season though.

The question is how good will we make Spurs look???

(edit, it has just been that sort of a season, whenever there is poo we bring the glitterā€¦)
