4-0ā€¦ leicester making fulham look like peak liverpool

It would be quite the arc for some of those players, to win the PL and get relegated.

Did they pick Dean Smith over Rafa because they thought the latter would be more helpful in getting them out of the Championship?

There will be a lot of exits with Leicester this coming season. Both with guys with contracts up as well as running out. Their survival isnā€™t perhaps Everton levels of direness but itā€™s gonna be tough as well with their financial situation

4-1 Barnes

Klopp likes him

Good finish by Barnes

Right age. Can come for a reasonable price. Useful backup to Diaz / Jota

I thought he was a short term contract.

Probably should have gone with Sam.

See Javi Garcia for managers who are perceived better than they are.

Letā€™s be honest Frank has taken Brentford far higher than Smith was going with it.

Also Barnes didnā€™t down tools last year as well the way Tielemans and the others did.

Weā€™ve got to keep a cheeky bid in if Klopp really has an interest

Penalty Leicester

Soft penalty. Keeper didnā€™t need to come that far

I am not sure that is a bad thing for them. A couple of major assets leaving for nothing (Tielemans) and quite a few 2024 expiry guys they will deal, but a lot of the contracts that have not quite worked out are also coming to an end. They have a little more scope for rebuilding than say Everton would - Everton have quite a few players who have come in during the past 2-3 years, are overpaid, and are likely close to unsellable.

Leno makes amends.

5-1 Willi

Has ndidi fallen off a cliff w.r.t his form? Fulham ripping apart Leicester and their midfield far too easily

Itā€™s a template to how we approach next week.

Donā€™t give them an inch early on and score early.
