Brighton have played really well, though Mac Allister has so far had an off day. Cut a bit of a frustrated figure in the more advanced role, see how he does now heās gone to sit in a bit more.
100s of millions spend, including 150 million on two wide forwards and an objective view of how to improve them includes buying yet more players for that role. Whether they can put out a credible CB partnership will depend on how often Varane is fit, as any of their options can look ok besides him, but all look like alongside each other. The same issue is true in their midfield with the now 31 year old Casimro.
There is a reason they are two missteps away from falling behind us, and its because they are still a really limited team.

One thing Brighton have done very well in this match is clog the area in front of the keeper with four bodies, one of which always seems to block the key pass or make the key shot block.
